About Qibla Portal

Qibla Portal is a free, public portal that helps people know when to pray, what the Islamic date is, what important Islamic events are approaching, and where the Qibla is — without needing a compass.

The first release focuses on Pakistan, but the underlying architecture is built to expand worldwide over time without being rebuilt.

Qibla Portal does not create accounts, does not require sign-in, and does not store your exact location. It is an informational tool, not a religious authority — see the Methodology page for how dates and times are calculated.
